Azerbaijani Neftchi football team will not play with Ukrainian Shakhtyor at the Commonwealth Cup, which will be held in Moscow in mid-January, Trend reports.
Ukrainian team refused from participation in the tournament, as regarded it as inexpedient on the eve of the European Cup and National Championship. Victor Prokopenko, the Sports Director of the team, said that they gained a ticket to the quarter-final of UEFA Cup and planed to play at the tournament in Israel with participation of Ukranian Dinamo, Muscovite TSKA and Spartak.
