The Khatai district court did not satisfied the application of Janmirza Mirzayev, the former chief of the Naval School, who was sentenced to 8-year imprisonment in 2000 for murder of rear-admiral Eduard Husseynov, on exculpation on Wednesday due to conclusion of the reformatory 9, where he served his term, Trend reports.
The document says that Mirzayev roughly violated disciplinary rules twice. Judge Isgandar Gasimov refused to cancel the rest imprisonment term of Mirzayev basing on this conslucion.
Mirzayev intends to appeal the sentence on Friday.
He was amnestied at the decree of the President on 10 May 2004. Thus, Mirzayev has 4 more years of imprisonment.
