Baku Office of the UNICEF jointly with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism, as well as the �Initiative for Development’ non-governmental organization, will hold a concert- action “Let’s Unite for Children. Let’s Unite against AIDS” as part of the international week of fighting with AIDS, Baku Office of UNICEF told Trend.
Azerbaijani pop stars will participate in the action.
According to UNICEF, every minute one child dies of diseases linked with HIV infection and only 5% of HIV-infected children receive medical aid. 15 million people lost as minimum one parent died of AIDS, but only less than tenth of such orphans enjoy a pubic support.
