On Monday the Sabail district court under the chairmanship of Judge Yusif Karimov held a preparatory sitting on the civil suit of Ali Insanov, the former Health Minister, who is currently under arrest, Trend reports.
Insanov filed the suit against the channels AzTV and Lider. The former Minister alleged that the news spread by the TV channels after his arrest offended his honor and dignity. He demanded from court to make a sentence on refutation of the news and compensation of moral damage.
The judge made a sentence to appoint the court hearings on the civil suit for 20 December at 10.00 am.
