Supreme Court satisfied complaint of Sulhaddin Akber

A panel of judges on civil cases of the Supreme Court satisfied the cassation complaint of the Musavat party deputy chairman Sulhaddin Akber, who nominated his candidacy from the First Narimanov constituency N19 during the latest parliamentary elections, the lawyer of Akber, Intigam Aliyev told Trend.

Sulhaddin Akber lodged a complaint to the Central Election Committee (CEC) demanding to cancel the results of the votes at the First Narimanov constituency в"-19 and bring to account the commission members, the officials, who violated the Election Code requirements and in whose actions there are components of crime. However, CEC took a decision not to satisfy the complaint. The lawyers of the candidate to deputy lodged an appeal for this decision, however the panel of judges on civil cases of the Court of Appeal made a ruling to decline accepting his complaint.

The cassation complaint for this decision was handled at the panel of judges on the civil cases of the Supreme Court under the chairmanship of the judge Bagir Asadov and the ruling of the inferior court was cancelled. Now the Court of Appeal is to handle the complaint in essence.
