Training workshops on the protection of human rights are being currently conducted at the Institute of Azerbaijani Ombudsman. The Institute announced that three-week training-workshops were conducted by Bill Chapman, an Australian expert, under the second stage of a joint project of the Institute of Ombudsman and the R.Wallenberg Institute of Humanitarian Law and Human Rights of the Sweden. Chapman represents the Swiss Institute.
Under the first part of the project, which was implemented in November 2005, Chapman held an enlightenment work among the employees of the Institute.
