The Fund for Defense of Freedom of Speech prepares the first web-site, dedicated to Molla Nasraddin magazine and the creation of Jalil Mammadguluzade, Trend reports.
The 100th anniversary of the issue of the first number of Molla Nasraddin is in April 2006. The magazine was published at the initiative of prominent writer Jalil Mammadguluzade, who was also the editor-in-chief of Molla Nasraddin. The magazine became a new stage in the history of the Azerbaijani media.
The Fund has set to overhaul study of Molla Nasraddin and will present web-site, dedicated to the magazine and its history, life and creation of its founder Mammadguluzade. Besides, the Fund plans to issue original calendars by the 100th anniversary of the magazine.
