Jonathan Henick, the head of the Public Relations Department of the U.S. embassy in Azerbaijan, participated in the International Eurasian Media Forum (IEMF), the Eurasian Media Fund told Trend.
Umid Mirzayev, the chairman of the Fund, informed the diplomat about the activities, work and projects of the organization. He touched upon the progress in the development of media and civil society, problems of refugees and internally displaced persons. Mirzayev also stressed that the Fund cooperated with such authoritative organizations as UNDP, UN Supreme Commissariat on refugees, U.S. State Department, European Commission, NATO, International Media Institute. The guest noted that the experience, gained by the organization, opened wide perspectives for setting new relations on cooperation with authoritative organizations.
