The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the Azerbaijani Ombudsmans Institute set to the 2nd stage if the joint project covering 2005-2007, the Ombudsmans Institute told Trend .
The project envisages improvement of the opportunities of the institute in human rights. Elmira Suleymanova, the Azerbaijani Ombudsman, recently met with Jenny Swedberg, the coordinator of the project, also employee of the R.Vallenberg Human Rights Institute, to discuss the goals of the 2nd stage, which includes holding of different trainings for employees of the Ombudsmans Institute, organization of campaigns on enlightenment of the society and rendering legal redress.
In the framework of the project the sides plan to publish legal literature and legal acts, as well as translate books from English into Azerbaijani.
