The Azerbaijani national football team will start preparations for unofficial match with Ukraine on 23 February.
The footballers will arrive at the base after completion of 16th round of the national championship, which will be held from 21 to 22 February. It would be useful to have extra 2 days prior the match to adapt, but clubs refused to let their players go prematurely. It is natural, they also struggle for medals and the results of the national championship worry coaches, Shahin Diniyev, the coach of the national team, told Trend.
It should be mentioned that it will be the first match for Diniyev in the rank of chief coach of the Azerbaijani national team.
