The CIS Executive committee in the cooperation with the UN Organization on struggle with AIDS held an international meeting in Moscow at the request of the Russian Health and Social Development Ministry with the participation of the heads of the national programs against AIDS, Trend reports referring to a news release spread by the Azerbaijani Health Ministry on Tuesday.
The meeting completed the work on 2 March. Azerbaijan was represented at the event by Sanan Karimov, the Deputy Minister of Health.
The major issue discussed at the meeting was citizens opportunity to undergo medical examination in anonymous way. It was also mentioned that Azerbaijan is among the countries, where similar examinations are conducted in anonymous form.
