The ruling composition of NOC under chairmanship of Vice-President Chingiz Husseynzade heard the reports by the Federations on development of sports and forecast on number of possible licenses. In particular, wrestlers hope for 8 tickets to the Games-2008, while taekwondoists - at least 2 vacancies. The same time the Heavy Athletics Federation determined 3 licenses, but did not exclude that the number may increase.
The Calisthenics Federation will attempt to increase the number of its sportsmen at the Olympic Games up to 3. Gymnasts are expected to receive 2 tickets on personal exercises, 1 - on team exercises.
