A religious experts council was created at the State committee for work with religious structures in Azerbaijan. The council has been created on social beginnings, the state committee told Trend.
The Council is made up of 15 experts and clerics. The council` s code will have 4 major areas: organizing a religious education system, attracting religious communities to solving different social problems, cooperation in constructive cooperation and toleration between religions and religious communities as well as monitoring mass media.
Modernizing the state committee data base, analyzing religious education programs and working out the concept of State- religion will be included into the Council` s agenda. The council will be controlled by the state committee.
