An international conference on The situation of human rights in Azerbaijan will be held in Baku on 23-24 May, 2006 in Baku. Novella Jafaroglu, human rights protector, informed Trend.
The representative of the international organizations will also participate in the conference. The conference will focus on the situation of human rights and freedoms, gender equality and other issues.
The conference will also bring together the representatives of Milli Mejlis (National Assembly), law-enforcement bodies, as well as independent protectors.
