Austria takes an interest in developing the tourism relations with Azerbaijan, Abulfaz Garayev, the Azerbaijani minister of culture and tourism, told at a press-conference dedicated to the results of the visit to Austria, Trend reports.
During the visit, Garayev held talks with the official representatives of the relevant structures of Austria who expressed their interest in developing the cooperation in this sphere. The major role in this issue is played by the presentation of Azerbaijani tourism potential organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism within visit to this country. We have good opportunities in the sphere of reconstruction of historical architectural monuments of Azerbaijan. The Austrian companies possessing a great experience in this field may be involved in the project, told Garayev.
During the visit, an opening ceremony of the monument of great Azerbaijani compositor Uzeyir Hajibeyov was held in Vienna. The opening of a monument of Azerbaijani compositor in Vienna the center of Europe, center of the world classical music is an event of world importance, emphasized Garayev.
Besides, Garayev visited Antaliya (Turkey) where he participated at the world forum of Azerbaijani intellectuals.
