In the near future, a proposal will be prepared on creation of Department of general inspection of Azerbaijan (DGI), Pole Balukas, public prosecutor and head inspector of one of the districts of New-York, made such a statement at the conference dedicated to the anti-corruption measures in Azerbaijan.
According to Balukas, DGI will work as a separate state structure and its main functions are control on expenses of state organizations. With in a short time, I will prepare and submit my proposal to the government and relevant state instances, told Balukas.
Besides, Balkuas defined the main principles of mutual cooperation of DGI with other state bodies.
The event was attended by the representatives of state bodies and NGOs.
The conference was jointly organized by OSCE Baku office, the USA Embassy in Azerbaijan and American Bar Association.
