Azerbaijani boxers gained six medals in European championship

The collected boxers of Azerbaijan have gained one gold, one sliver and four bronze medals in the European championship among youth held in Albania.

Sadi Aliyev successfully demonstrated himself in weight category of up to 48 kg took the highest place, Tofig Babanli, the secretary general of the National Federation, told Trend. Farid Agayev (50 kg) could repeat Aliyevs success. However, Agayev lost the decisive battle and took the second place. At the same time, the third place was taken by Hafiz Iskandarov (75kg), Elnur Aliyev (54 kg), Malik Mammadzade (80 kg) and Farid Aliyev (66 kg).

The world championship scheduled for autumn in Turkey is the key start of the season for youth.
