The Police Department for Water Economy and Biological Resources has detained a resident of Surakhani district of Baku, Amrahov, on the fact of illegal fishing in the Caspian with the use of explosive substances.
The Ecology Ministry told Trendan engine boat and 45 fish were withdrawn during the inspection Trend. An examination held by employees of the Department detected the facts of fishing with the held of explosive substances.
In accordance with the decree by the Cabinet of Ministers, dated 24 September 1999 fishing for industrial purposes without relevant tickets is strongly forbidden.
The damage to environment summed comprised 495 AZN.
The investigation into case has been launched.
