The number of teams playing in highest league of Azerbaijan Football Championship can get reduced to thirteen.
Melik Hasanov, head of Championship department, told Trend in case Ganja club fails to apply for the games there will be only odd number of teams left. В"There is still no Ganja and no call, but actually thirteen teams can pay in the champ as well. Anyway we hope Ganja solves its financial problems and submits all necessary documents for performance in the competitionВ", said Hasanov.
The deadline for application submission is August 4, one day before the competition beginning.
