The delegation of Israeli writers is in Azerbaijan. On September 4, the guests met with the chairman of the State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad Nazim Ibrahimov, Trend reports.
The meeting focused on the relation between Azerbaijan and Israel, Azerbaijani and Israeli diasporas and the prospects of their joint activities.
The delegation includes outstanding Israeli writers Aleksandr Epshteyn, Efraim Bauch, Lev Baltzan, Meir Uziel, Naomi Frenkel, Mark Koteliarski, Daniel Kluger, Sipora Rayney and Svetlana Shenbrun. The delegation is headed by the member of Israeli Parliament Josef Shagal. The visit aims to develop cultural relations between the two countries and present Israeli writers to Azerbaijani readers.
