Having monitored the level of training of entrants, it is confirmed that there is a low level of training at schools, the Chairwoman of the State Commission for Student Admission of Azerbaijan (SCSA) Maleyka Abbaszade stated on 5 September at the conference Todays and future prospects of education in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
According to Abbaszade, the fact that entrants finishing schools with Honours then achieve no more than 300 marks in the entrance examinations also confirms. She said that the entrants have a low level of knowledge especially with regards to technical subjects.
The Chairwoman of SCSA mentioned in particular the problem of education of females in the north and south regions of the country. According to Abbaszade, the lowest entrants entering higher educational schools are female. Abbaszade also stressed that other problems in higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan is the teaching of unnecessary specialty subjects.
She drew the attention to the more sever problems of education and expressed her readiness to co-operate in their solution.
