Azeri Grand Master holds Eleventh Place in FIDE Rating

Azerbaijani Grand Master Teymur Rajabov took eleventh place as a result of the recent FIDE rating.

Holding ten official games over the recent three months, the chess player added another to his rating and did not allow his competitors to beat him, Trend reports. Thus, the Grand Master takes the lead over Spanish Aleksey Shirova, Armenian Vladimir Akopyan, Hungarian Yudit Polgar, Russian Aleksandra Shirova and other many sportsmen.

The World Champion is Bulgarian Veselin Topalov, followed in second place by Indian Vishvantan Anand and the third place by Vladimir Kramnik.
