At present, totally 3,438 citizens of foreign states are studying in Azerbaijan. Almost the same number of Azerbaijani citizens study abroad, a source in the Azerbaijan Ministry of Education told Trend today.
3,438 foreigners represent 41 countries. They are studying for their Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctor's degrees.
In 2006-2007 academic year, totally 891 Azerbaijanis has entered foreign institutions of higher education under the state support. 421 out of them are eager to obtain Bachelor's degree, 282 Master's one, 63 Clinical Registrar's, 18 Post Graduate degree, and 102 Doctor's.
