Editor-In-Chief of Azadlig Paper to Be Kept in Reanimation for a Week

Ganimat Zaheed, Editor-in-Chief of pro-opposition Newspaper Azadlig, who have taken a hunger strike for 15 days, will be kept in the reanimation for a week, Azer Assadov, Director of the Newspaper, told Trend.

Mr. Zakheed has been sent to State Clinic Hospital #5 since his health condition became worse. Ziya Assadov, Chief Physician of the Hospital, said that Mr. Zakheed has been sent to the hospital in time, otherwise he could have just passed away. The physicians said that the Editor-in-Chief of Azadlig should be kept in the reanimation for about a week. Presently, nothing threatens the life of Mr. Zakheed.

Mr. Zakheed and other journalists have recently announced a hunger-strike against expelling the editorial of Azadlig paper and some other organizations from their office where they have been located for a very long time (33, Khagani Street).
