A bibliography Mud Volcanoes of Azerbaijan printed by Publishing House Nafta-Press of the Institute of Geology of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan has been published, Trend reports referring to the press-service of the Geology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences.
The authors of the bibliography are the scientists of the Geology Institute at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (GIA) doctors of geological-mineralogical sciences Adil Aliyev and Ragid Rahmanov, and candidate of geological-mineralogical sciences Tamilla Hassanaliyeva.
The reader could find all significant scientific books, articles and other issues about mud volcanoes of Azerbaijan written in English, Russian and Azerbaijani languages. The sources are about mud volcanoes, the results of the researches, conferences and symposiums from the past times. In the list, there are also names of literatures on prettiness, and significance in medicine and construction, and protection problems, and danger for human life, from the mud volcanoes. The above-mentioned bibliography is the second issue since 1976, a source in the Institute said.
1,600 scientific researches dedicated to the mud volcanoes of Azerbaijan were published over the period of 1828-2005. 450 authors are scientists in geology, geophysics and geochemistry from USA, England, Italy, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan.
