On December 13, during the court session on the criminal cases of the former senior official of the Head Investigation Department of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry Haji Mammadov and his criminal gang, Adil Ismaylov, the lawyer of the former Chief of the Head Investigation Department of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry Zakir Nasirov, refused to make a speech. The court session on the cases of Mammadov and his gang comprising of 25 persons, is held in the Court of Heinous Crimes of Azerbaijan under the Chair of Judge Ali Seyfaliyev, Trend reports.
Ismaylov justified his refusal through the issue that the Judge rejected his appeal.
Accused Husain Abdulvahabov's lawyer Uldoza Ahmadova presented to the attention of the court that the punishment required for her client is very heinous. She asked the Judge to take into consideration that it was Abdulvahabov's fist conviction, and he has 5 children. The lawyers of other criminals appeared with the same appeal.
