The 4th conference of Azerbaijan journalists began at the Baku Culture House of Seamen on 23 December 2006.
The conference elected members of the Board, as well as mandate and accountancy commission and the secretariat. In accordance with the business plan, the Chairman of the Press Council, Aflatun Amashov, will make welcoming remarks. Then the forum will take a report by chairman of the revision commission of the Press Council, Ibrahim Mammadli and host discussions.
The discussions will continue after the break and the conference is expected to adopt a resolution of the 4th conference of journalists
In welcoming address the Chairman of the Press Council, Aflatun Amashov, announced that since the last conference the Azerbaijani journalism moved from the stage of organization to the quality.
