(news.sawf.org) - Oscar nominated actress, Salma Hayek has convinced close pal, actress Penelope Cruz to star in one of the episodes of Ugly Betty', a Golden Globe winning TV comedy series.
The Latin-American actress, who is also the producer of the show, plays the role of a vampish magazine writer, and has been trying to rope in her Bandidas co-star in the series since it began in 2006.
"We're going to do something with her, but maybe later," ContactMusic quoted her, as saying.
Ugly Betty', which premiered on September 28, 2006 on ABC, follows the daily life of Betty Suarez, a young woman from a struggling Latino family working as an executive assistant at Mode fashion magazine.
