On January 21st to 28th the Consular of the Azerbaijani Consulate General in St Petersburg, Gunesh Rustamzade, was sent to Arkhangelsk oblast of Russia to collect documents of Azerbaijanis residing in this region for registration, Trend reports referring to the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in St Petersburg. According to the agreement between the Consulate General of Azerbaijan and Administration of Arkhangelsk oblast, during his visit, Rustamzade received the Azerbaijanis in the Department of the Federal Migration Service. The Consular collected documents of Azerbaijanis to submit to the relevant bodies for legalization. In addition, the Consular met with Azerbaijanis at their place of work (markets, whole sale centers) and in the office of the Azerbaijani Diaspora.
Furthermore, Rustamzade held negotiations regarding the events of Novruz Holiday (national holiday of Azerbaijan) in March in Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk on the basis of the agreement reached during the visit of the Azerbaijani Consular General, Gudsi Osmanov, to Arkhangelsk.
