At a decision made by the Disciplinary Committee of the Association of Football Federation of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Football Club Gandjlarbirliyi has been fined the sum of 5000 AZN.
Trend has been told by the Football Federation, the Club from the city of Sumgayit, was fined for the behaviour of its Coach, Maharram Hassanov, who insulted an Assistant of the Referee, E Musayeva, during a home match against Neftchi FC of Baku in the Championship of the Country. Notably, the guests beat the home team. In addition, Mr Hassanov will not be permitted to sit in the technical zone and will supervise his team from the stand during the next four matches. Moreover, the Sumgayit Football Club was fined to another 1000 AZN for the lack of order in the stadium during play.
Notably, after the 14 matches played in the Championship of the Country, Sumgayit football club are currently second last in the table.
