Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr Z. Safarov / The number of member-countries participating in the Euro-2007 Championship on body-building, body fitness and mixed pairs which is to be held in Baku in May, has reached 20.
Rauf Bunyadaliyev, the President of the National Federation, informed Trend that the most impressive team is from Russia which consists of 29 members including not only sportsmen but officials as well.
The teams from Ukraine, Britain, Serbia, Belgium and Germany have recently applied for participation. The total number of participants is over 170 at the moment and the figure is likely to increase considerably.
The Championship is to be held in the Heydar Aliyev Palace of Sport, as the venue originally intended for the competition is soon to be closed for repair.
