Azerbaijan, Baku / Т corr S. Ilhamghizi / Aflatun Amashov, the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Media Council, reported that the United States Ambassador to OSCE, Julia Finly, met with the Azerbaijani media officials during her visit to Baku.
The meeting was held in the residence office of the United States Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ann Derse on 29 March. Aflatun Amashov, the Chairman of the Media Council, Rauf Talishinski, the Editor-in-Chief of the Ayna-Zerkalo newspaper, Rashid Hajily, the head of the Media Rights Institute and others were in attendance.
Amashov noted that during the meeting, Finly reported on the current status of the Azerbaijani media and its success and problems. An opinion exchange took place on development prospects and means to resolve any problems.
