Public Prosecutor to Insist on Punishing Azerbaijani Ex-Health Minister and Ten Other Members of His Team

Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr E. Javadova/ Today legal proceedings on the criminal case of the former Azerbaijani Ex-Health Minister, Ali Insanov, and ten other people accused simultaneously with him went ahead in the Azerbaijani Court of Serious Crimes. The State Prosecutor, Kamran Aliyev, brought to the attention of the court that the court and judges had thoroughly considered all accusations toward Ali Insanov and ten other people.

"I consider that the court may be completed," noted the Prosecutor, and he requested that he make his closing speech on 5 April. Judge Faig Gasimov presided at the court, as well as other lawyers supporting this proposal put forward by the State Prosecutor. On April 5, the State Prosecutor will demand to punish Ali Insanov and the other accused persons.

Notably, Mr. Insanov and ten members of his team are accused of exceeding their authorities and duties, illegal privatization, bribe taking and other serious crimes.
