S.Agayeva / The Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of Azerbaijan, Hidayat Orujov, does not foresee any threats of religious destabilization in Azerbaijan as a result of tension between the US and Iran. Mr. Orujov said that Azerbaijan is an independent country and implements its policy and the religious situation is under control. " Iran is a neighbor country with Azerbaijan and we do not want tension in the region, and we are interested in a prompt peaceful settlement regarding the problem," Orujov said.
