France, Strasbourg / Тrend corr E. Mejidli / The mayor of Elazikh city, Suleyman Selmanoghlu, reported one of the streets of Elazikh city in Turkey will be named after the prominent Azerbaijani poet Almas Ildirim.
Addressing the meeting he noted that Almas Ildirim had migrated to Turkey by force of the suppressions by the Soviet regime and became one of the favourite poets. Selmanoghlu added that Elazikh attaches great importance to the values of Turkish world.
Almas Ildirim was a great poet and his name would never be forgotten in Elazikh, he said..
