According to the Minister, the work implemented in this area gives us grounds to forecast the number of tourists. In addition, Garayev said that Azerbaijan attaches importance not only to external, but also internal tourism. The growth of the internal tourism this year equaled 20% this year. The Minister said that to attract tourists, preference is given to the south zones (Lenkoran-Masally) and north zones (Guba-Khachmaz) of Azerbaijan as well as territories close to the sea.
