Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / Nazim Ibrahimov, the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Residing Abroad, stated on 25 May that the date of the Forum of World Azerbaijani Scientists, originally scheduled in June in Turkey, was postponed.
According to Ibrahimov, holding the forum in Antalya during the summer tourist season would prove to be difficult.
"If the forum is held in summer attendance may not be optimal as many high-level officials and participants will be vacationing during that time. Therefore the forum will be held at another date and it may be in Baku," Ibrahimov added.
