Azerbaijan to Grant a Year License to Foreign Broadcasting Stations

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend cor . E.Huseyinli / Azerbaijan will grant a year license to foreign radio stations, broadcasting in the country.

The decision was adopted during the meeting of the National Council on broadcasting stations held on the 6th of June.

Nushiravan Maharramli , the chairman of the structure, has stated that the meeting with the participation of representatives of the BBC, the Svoboda and the Voice of American radio stations will be held in the near future to prolong the terms of license.

The foreign broadcasting stations will pay $2,000 to prolong the term for a year.
