Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Zarbaliyeva / The detention term of Rizvan Talybov, the Chairman of the Public Union for Return to West Azerbaijan and Director of the Committee on Protection of Rights for the Azerbaijani Ex-Minister for Health, Ali Insanov, was prolonged for a month. According to his attorney, Telman Novruzzadeh, the decision was made by the Azerbaijan Republic Sumgayit City Court on 11 June.
An appeal to prolong the investigation term was made due to a lack of replies to the appeals by defense.
Talybov is charged in compliance with Article 221.2.2 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan Republic. The criminal case was filed on the basis of an appeal of his neighbour.
