Azerbaijani Secondary School Graduates Can Apply to Russian Universities with Their Secondary School Certificates

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend К.Ramazanova / Graduates of Azerbaijani secondary schools can apply to Russian Universities directly with their certificates, the Russian Federal Supervision service on education stated on their website.

Secondary school graduate certificates of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Ukraine along with Azerbaijanis, will be recognized at the same level of the Russian secondary education document and graduates will have right to apply to Russian educational institutions of higher, secondary and primary professional education without an equivalency certificate license.

Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Estonia will join to these countries in 2007. Graduates of these republics will be given equivalency certificates by 1 January, 2008.

Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan graduates have the right to apply to Russian Universities and scholarship places.
