Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend Z.Safarov / Dmitrious Dimetropulos, the head of the European Union of Gymnastics (EUG) stated that he has never seen such gradnsiouse opening of the European Campionship like in Baku. Sharing his impressions with opening part of the event the eminent guest stressed that he was deeply impressed with the act staged at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex.
"After such beginning I am sure that the championship will be held at the high level, because there are all preconditions in this respect," he added.
Opening of Euro-2007 are accompanied by Gobustan rock art landscape, which gave a peculiar color to the tournament.
