Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr Z. Safarov / Construction of a Paralympic Complex in Azerbaijani Sumgayit city will be completed by the end of August.
As it is reported from the National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan, the Complex will have a swimming-pool, training halls, football and volleyball grounds, shooting-ground, and so on.
Initially the Complex was planned to be built in Khyrdalan. However, due to unsuitable soil it was decided to build it in Sumgayit in the 17th microdistrict. The necessity in the construction is great for Azerbaijani Paralympics players occupy leading positions in international scene.
The construction of the Complex is financed by Azerbaijani Labour and Social Security Ministry.
