Trend E.Huseynly / There is proof of violence in schools in Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Education does not refute it, said the Minister of Education of Azerbaijan, Misir Mardanov, on 6 July at the National Conference dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Resolution of the UN General Assembly 'World Fit for Children'.
According to him, although the violence against pupils in Azerbaijani schools has been minimized, such cases still exist. The Minister believes that a number of amendments need to be made to the legislation to fully prevent violent action in schools.
