Forecasts for Bitcoin price dynamics disclosed

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 8

Trend:

Over the past week, the rates of ten cryptocurrencies have risen from 10 percent to 50 percent while some cryptocurrencies have increased by nearly 148 percent since the beginning of the year, Trend reports citing the Russian media.

The experts expect further growth in the cost of altcoins and bitcoin with some rate corrections.

Altcoin rates have manly increased: Chainlink - by 102 percent, Ethereum - by 125 percent, Cardano - by 143 percent, Stellar - by 146 percent and Polkadot - by 148 percent.

Dogecoin, which ranks 11th in the rating, has risen in price by a record 780 percent.

Another price jump occurred after Elon Musk returned to Twitter on February 4, less than two days after tweeting that he would be taking a break from the social media platform.

The Tesla and SpaceX founder announced on February 4 that he would be "off Twitter for a while." It was a tweet that was exactly identical to one he had written in June of last year.

However, in a similar move, it didn't take long for Musk to log back in.

It started with a retweet from SpaceX's Twitter account, which had posted a video on February 4 showing the Falcon 9 launch of 60 Starlink satellites at Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

After stage separation, Falcon 9's first stage successfully returned to Earth and landed on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

Musk retweeted a second SpaxeX video showing the landing and commented that "this was a tough one."

Next, replying to a picture he had posted of the rocket, Musk wrote a single word: "Doge."

The price of cryptocurrency rapidly increased by 76 percent. It can now be purchased at $0.049.

The experts expect the current growth of cryptocurrency rates, including bitcoin, to continue.

"There will be still influx of institutional capital into the digital assets sector, which in the long term will lead to an increase in the price of e-currencies," head of the CEX data analysis department, IO broker Yuri Mazur said.

After the correction of bitcoin at the level of $19,000-20,500 with a new wave of growth, its price can reach up to $42,000.

An even more optimistic forecast is given by Vladimir Smetanin, CEO of the Swiss Newcent financial company.

"The rate may be corrected but bitcoin may approach the mark of $100,000-120,000 in the next two years," Smetanin said.
