New technologies, methods of doing business, administration, and a number of other know-how should be introduced in the lands of Azerbaijan liberated from the Armenian occupation, Ilgar Valizade, Head of the South Caucasus Political Scientists' Club, told Trend.
Valizade noted that there is no infrastructure at all in the liberated territories.
All infrastructure there is currently being created from scratch, which gives the state an advantage in terms of implementing ‘smart’ projects: building cities, creating management systems and everything that will be created in these territories will meet modern standards, the head said.
Valizade noted that the implementation of such projects requires the creation of modern fiber-optic Internet connections, adding that it is necessary to have regional information platforms, the introduction of new technologies, ways of management, and current approaches of the global economy.
“When creating any objects (water supply systems, gas pipelines, etc.), the concepts of these ‘smart’ projects will be taken into account. It is ‘smart’ technologies that will calculate the further distribution of resources for the future population of the liberated districts, and will also enable identifying in the future the presence of any emergency points of this or that facility,” he stressed.
According to the expert, the implementation of such projects will allow the government of the country to reveal the economic potential of these districts, integrate them into the economic life of Azerbaijan and provide favorable conditions for the life of the future population.
“The implementation of ’smart’ projects is an integrated platform where elements of the previous approaches to activities are combined with innovations and the introduction of know-how. These are energy-saving technologies, the creation of digital hubs that allow optimizing management processes, digitalization of economic processes and administration,” Valizade said.
