The engineering department of Azerbaijani ULTRA Technologies LLC is focusing on building a layered IT infrastructure that meets the latest trends and innovations, Ruslan Romanenko, a consultant on innovative solutions at ULTRA Technologies, told Trend.

According to Romanenko, such an infrastructure is a single software-defined environment that combines all the elements of a traditional data processing center (DPC): storage, computing resources, network, and management tools.

“This integrated solution based on software and x86 servers, architecture completely replaces expensive specialized equipment and makes it possible to simplify the data center environment and improve scalability. The introduction of such solutions, coupled with a new proprietary approach to building networks, brings the calculated capacities of the customer's organization to the most modern level,” added the consultant.

He noted that ULTRA Technologies was the first in the local market to introduce the principle of software-defined network (SD-WAN) based on CISCO equipment in one of the local banks.

“It is a cloud-first architecture that separates the data and control planes, managed through the CISCO vManage console. The SD-WAN solution enables automating the deployment of a network in an organization, implementing the optimal level of data encryption, as well as send traffic using all connected channels,” added Romanenko.

Speaking about the biometric solution, he noted that it was over the past year that ULTRA Technologies paid increased attention to this class of solutions and now can offer its customers the most advanced methods of recognition and identification of people using biometric data of a face and/or digital impressions of a person's voice.

“Together with our foreign partners, we are actively promoting their advanced solutions for the financial sector of Azerbaijan in the field of biometric security of transactions when using mobile applications, the possibility of paying ‘face identification’, as well as optimizing the work of contact centers using ‘voice identification’,” Romanenko stressed.

Moreover, given that the modern world is changing towards the ubiquitous use of web and mobile applications by consumers of goods and services, solutions are coming to the fore to help developers and owners of these applications in time to identify and quickly solve problems with them, thereby ensuring continuity and quality of service, the consultant said.

“The APM (Application Performace Monitoring) systems, such as, for example, Dynatrace, can help in this important matter. It is a powerful tool for detecting and analyzing problems in business applications using a forward-looking approach: a single platform that provides continuous monitoring and vertical analysis to pinpoint the root cause of a problem,” he said.

At the end of 2019, experts of ULTRA Technologies LLC for the first time in Azerbaijan implemented the Dynatrace solution in Kapital Bank OJSC, which allowed the developers to respond as quickly as possible to any problem in the BirBank mobile application and quickly fix it.
