BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16
By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:
The evacuation service is in demand in such cities as Baku, Sumgait and Ganja, Head of the public relations department of the 166 Cargo Transportation and Logistics company Zeynab Nurullah told Trend.
According to Nurullah, the sphere of logistics and transport is included in the list of those services that functioned during the period of the coronavirus-related tightened quarantine regime.
Business continuity plans have been implemented to take precautions to protect employees so that the company can continue to provide services to its customers, she added.
"In this regard, we have started digitalizing processes, which requires a sufficient period of time. However, the current situation has accelerated this process. Compared to 2019, the number of transactions using contactless payments increased by 110 percent, or 2.5 times," the department head noted.
Nurullah stressed that the company carries out evacuation services for cars both in the city of Baku and beyond, covering all regions of Azerbaijan, with the exception of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
"The evacuation service is in demand in cities such as Baku, Sumgait, and Ganja. We have a fairly large fleet of trucks, which includes evacuators of the 'Man' brand, manipulators, container trucks, open platform vehicles, refrigerated vans, awning semi-trailers, platforms for oversized and heavy cargo, auto transporters, hydro lift trucks, isothermal vans (with hydro lift) and a number of others," she added.
The head of the department said that the company's plans include the development of a mobile application, both for cargo transportation services and for the evacuation of cars.
"In the near future, we plan to develop the most convenient and useful application for our users. I would also like to note that on our website you can order any service from anywhere in the country and pay online," said Nurullah.
