Azerbaijan’s AzerGold CJSC increased the export of products by 43 percent from January through July 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
During the specified period, AzerGold exported products worth $76.3 million, which is 43.15 percent, or $23 million more compared to the same period of 2020.
In 2020, AzerGold CJSC increased gold production by 8.7 percent compared to 2019, and silver mining - by 17.6 percent. The company's total profit grew by more than $43 million (141.3 percent), reaching $73.5 million in 2020.
AzerGold CJSC, providing capital investments for the implementation of gold-related projects at its own expense, completely eliminated dependence on the state budget in this area. Funding from the state budget is provided only for the implementation of iron ore projects related to the new field of activity.
