BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept. 1
By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:
Azerbaijani MilliÖN payment system plans to expand the range of services which are rendered through the introduction of additional services of banking and non-banking organizations, as well as the state agencies, Ulviyya Afandiyeva, head of the customer care unit at MilliÖN, told Trend on Sept. 1.
“The interface of MilliÖN terminals is not expected to be renewed soon,” Afandiyeva added. “MilliÖN service center has been optimized and is available to customers.”
The head of the customer care unit stressed that MilliÖN was chosen as the most popular method of payment in the country in accordance with a customer survey.
“Moreover, the payments are actively carried out through MilliÖN payment terminals in all districts of Azerbaijan, except for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic,” Afandiyeva said.
"There is an alternative solution for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic,” the head of the customer care unit said. “It is possible to make payments through www.million.az online platform.”
“To date, payments for Nakhchivan qaz (gas), Nakhchivan su (water), Nakhchivan elektrik (electricity) utilities are accepted,” Afandiyeva said. “The banking services, namely, payment for a loan and replenishment of a bank account, payments for utilities and mobile communication services are in great demand in all districts."
