Azerbaijan sees growth in state budget revenues via customs duties for 8M2021

The state budget revenues via the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan have increased from January through August 2021, Trend reports on Sept.6 with reference to the committee.

According to the SCC, this indicator exceeded 2.81 billion manat or $1.65 (against over 2.6 billion manat or $1.5 billion in the same period of 2020).

In the first seven months of this year, the revenues from customs duties to the Azerbaijani state budget have grown by 17.7 percent on annual basis and reached 762.4 million manat ($448.4 million).

The state budget revenues from VAT rose by 1.6 percent up to 1.9 billion manat ($1.12 billion) while from excise taxes - by 18.3 percent up to 106.3 million manat ($62.5 million).

The revenues from road tax increased by 16.4 percent, amounting to 28.1 million manat ($16.5 million).

As earlier reported, the SCC fulfilled the forecast for state budget revenues by 112.58 percent from January through August 2021.

The amount transferred to the state budget in excess of the forecast amounted to 313.9 million manat ($184.6 million).
